The college is offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course which is recognized and affiliated with Gujarat University and government of Physiotherapy.

Course Curriculum

The Course is of Four and half year duration including six months of Internship. After the completion of this course the Gujarat University awards a degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy. The primary focus of the course is to provide an integrated curriculum that combines didactic and clinical study to prepare students for the practice of physiotherapy. The fee for the course is regulated by R.J Shah Admission Committee & is revised as and when applicable. In its endeavor to achieve this objective and to provide quality education, the institute has a highly qualified and experienced full time academic and clinical faculty. Physiotherapy is a health care profession that addresses all aspects of working with disabilities using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and the applications of electro physical modalities. This course is affiliated to Gujarat University, and recognized by Government of Gujarat.

Course Information

BPT is a 4 year program with 6 months compulsory internship. After completion of the study program the graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a Physiotherapist. The program is supported with specialist teaching facilities which include a Physiotherapy OPD and labs equipped with specialist bio- mechanical and physiological equipment. Some of the subjects covered during the course of study include Human Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Electro therapy, Exercise therapy, Clinical Orthopedics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Physiotherapy in Orthopaedic Conditions, Physiotherapy in General Surgery and Community based Rehabilitation.

Eligibility

Candidate must have passed at the external evaluation in Higher Secondary examination under 10+2 education pattern or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.

Eligible Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of his / her joining the college.

Fee Structure

As per the Fee Regulatory committee (Medical), Gujarat State, Ahmedabad, College do not take any other fees like : computer, laboratory, Library, clinical posting and sports. Students admissions are solely based on rules and regulations of central admission committee, Gandhinagar under the Government of Gujarat.
